Il Posto delle Viole holiday farm now has three new apartments with swimming pool at the Castello di Frontone.
Near the Castello di Frontone, 5 minutes and 2 km away from our farm holidays, we have three new apartments with a swimming pool.
Set in magnificent natural surroundings between the Castello di Frontone to the east and the splendid scenery of Monte Catria to the south, the recently refurbished apartments are stylishly furnished and fully equipped with all mod cons. They are ideal for a holiday in an unspoilt area in which the local people have preserved their rural traditions and cultivate a taste for the “good life”.
For guests only, the swimming pool (12 m x 6 m) is in a large garden with magnificent views of the mountain and enjoys sunlight from dawn to dusk, when you can savour a fine white wine as evening sets in. Built with steps to make getting in and out of the water easy, the pool provides safe, fun swimming.
The apartments have a spacious gazebo where you can relax and enjoy food, which may also be prepared on the barbecue available for guests.
Called Oliva, Roberta and Marilena, the apartments all have stunning views of the mountains and the magnificent grey stone walls of the Castello di Frontone towering up from a wooded hill.
Next door to the apartments, a small restaurant provides a handy, easy alternative if you want to dine out in the evening rather than cook at home.

Where we are
Il Castello is only 3 km from the town of Frontone (Province of Pesaro and Urbino) with its easily reached restaurants, cafes, post office, supermarkets, shops, pharmacies and banks.
On the border with Umbria, Frontone is in an excellent geographical position, not far from the most important art cities in central Italy. Urbino and Gubbio are less than 35 km, as are the Frasassi Caves, while the sea and quiet beaches of Fano are only 35 minutes by car. Many other attractions can easily be reached: San Marino, San Leo, Gradara, Assisi, Cortona, Spoleto, Lake Trasimeno, Arezzo, etc.
